When I was in my teens and my weight fluctuated my older sister used to announce by body when she saw me on the stairs—she’d be like today you’re fat/ today your thin daily. It fucked me up good. I still hear it. Loving and accepting ourselves is a daily practice. Your piece reminded me of that.
