We watched this as a family. I loved it because I thought it grasped the insane distractions the media poses for us today-especially the kiddos. What is happening to a brain that is looking at 12 things at once and is still able to maintain a conversation. Unlike you, I was not watching it with a critical eye-I was merely fascinated by this new way of showing the world through media. When we finished, I wondered if my mother would have been able to stand one second of it. However, I totally forgot about it after, but maybe that's the thing about too many things at once. We're totally in it and then relieved when it's over because it required so much concentration. I did, however think it would be a good series, even if a series might enter it into campy land. Glad you got to this movie with a review. Will you write another one when more people see it? I would love to hear a critical play by play with your discerning eye--I think I probably missed a lot, but is that the point too?
