Thank you. I agree but I hadn’t thought it all out as much as you have. I did think I was the right person for this talk — as a woman who had been on the other side. I also think it’s important to talk to boys as women because that is not a point of view they have — If they are hetero and having relationships with women, and they love and respect their mom(I think we have that relationship) then maybe they will remember that when they are intimate — Hey, my mom’s a woman. Maybe I shouldn’t be an asshole. I also think that it can help guide husbands and partners(who are listening and care) to follow your lead on how to talk to boys — My husband ended up continuing the conversation with our son in the car giving him the points I hadn’t thought of — more specific(no dick pics) — we all have our roles if we remember we are preparing them for the world and for other people.
