I love this. What a perfect example of the complexities of an apology. I have given some myself where I still feel like a conversation would help, but I mainly want to keep my side of the street clean as well as remember we are all having human experience-- not only me--though this AI thing is confusing as shit. I cannot tell you how many conversations I've had with editors regarding this. It reminds me of when my professor friends had to become like internet spies to see where papers came from. Ugh. I don't think you and I will eery be accused of being AIs until they make AIs insanely human. Thank you so much for sharing this piece here.
