I am glad you were able to get peace that he surely gave. I lost my best friend from childhood years ago in a terrible way. He had returned to me as an adult and I wanted to shield him from everything sad. After he died, I dreamed of him many times, always feeling responsible for not being able to protect him from himself and the chaos that surrounded him. One night he came to me in a dream and let me off the hook. He said "Amy. It is not your fault." That's what I needed. I was able to let go. The universe speaks to us through many channels--mine is usually in dreams. I would be a fool to listen. I am glad you did too. How beautiful you were able to bring him home.
