The biopsy was a circus. My girlfriend fainted when the needle went into my breast. She insisted on belting out Elton John’s, Someone Saved My Life Tonight while two saleswomen helped the biopsy technician manage the hospital’s new biopsy machine. As part of the technician’s learning experience, I had numerous extra needle punctures.
